Quant AI Privacy

What is sent to your provider and what never leaves the platform.

UPDATED 1 WEEK AGO·4 MIN READ·03 SECTIONS
01

What gets sent

When you ask a question, Quant AI assembles the relevant context — the specific backtest metrics, strategy rules or market figures needed to answer — and sends only that to your chosen provider along with your question.

Your API key, account credentials and payment details are never included in any prompt.

02

What stays local

Strategy source rules are sent only when you explicitly ask Quant AI about a specific strategy. Browsing the dashboard or running a backtest sends nothing to any AI provider.

Conversations are stored in your account so you can return to them. Deleting a conversation removes it from our storage; whether your provider retains its own copy is governed by their policy, not ours.

03

Your provider's terms

Because you supply the key, your relationship for AI processing is directly with Anthropic, OpenAI or Google. Their retention and training policies apply to the requests you make.

If you require zero-retention processing, check whether your provider offers it on your account tier before enabling Quant AI.

CONTROL

Disabling Quant AI in Settings stops all outbound AI requests immediately, with no residual background usage.
