AI Privacy
How your data is handled when using the AI Analyst.
What is sent to AI providers
When you send a message to the AI Analyst, the message content, your conversation history (up to the context window), and any tool call outputs (e.g., price data or backtest metrics) are sent to your chosen AI provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google) using your own API key.
Your AI provider's privacy policy governs how they handle this data. Review Anthropic's, OpenAI's, or Google's data usage policies for details.
What stays on Quantinger servers
Quantinger stores: your conversation history (messages in and out), tool call logs (which tool was called and with what parameters), and token usage per message. We do not store your AI provider's API response in raw form — only the parsed message content.
Your encrypted API key is stored in our database. It is never decrypted except during a live API call, and it is never logged.
Deleting your data
You can delete your AI conversation history at any time from Settings → AI Keys → Clear history. This removes all stored messages from Quantinger's servers. It does not delete anything stored by your AI provider under your API key's account.
To fully remove your data from Quantinger, submit an account deletion request to support@quantinger.com.
