AI Analyst Setup

Quantinger uses a Bring Your Own Key model for AI. This means you provide your own API key from Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google (Gemini). We do not provide shared AI credits, and we do not charge per message.

BYOK keeps costs transparent (you see exactly what you spend on AI directly from your provider), and it means your AI conversations are under your own API account's data policies.

Go to Settings → AI Keys. Click Add Key for your chosen provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Gemini). Paste your API key. Click Save.

The key is encrypted with AES-256 Fernet encryption before being stored in our database. Your key is never logged, never returned in API responses after the initial save, and cannot be recovered in plaintext by our team.

After adding a key, choose which model to use. For Anthropic: Claude Sonnet 4 is the recommended balance of capability and cost. For OpenAI: GPT-4o is the standard choice. For Gemini: Gemini 1.5 Pro.

You can switch models at any time from Settings → AI Keys. The selected model persists across sessions.
