Paper Bots

Forward-testing validated strategies on live data.

UPDATED 3 DAYS AGO·5 MIN READ·03 SECTIONS
01

Deploying a bot

Any strategy that has been validated can be deployed to paper with one click. The bot runs the same rule set against live market data, applying the same fee and slippage assumptions used in the backtest.

Pro allows up to 2 concurrent bots; Elite up to 10.

02

Tracking versus backtest

Each bot reports live win rate, trade count and maximum drawdown next to the backtest expectation, with a tolerance indicator. On track means live results fall within the expected variance for the sample so far.

Divergence is the signal worth watching. A live win rate persistently ten points below backtest usually means execution assumptions were optimistic, not that the edge disappeared.

MINIMUM PERIOD

Thirty days or thirty trades — whichever comes later — before drawing any conclusion from forward-test results.

03

No real execution

Paper bots never place real orders and have no exchange write permissions. Quantinger does not execute trades, custody assets or connect to accounts with withdrawal rights.

NON-CUSTODIAL

The platform is research-only. We never hold funds and never have trading permissions on your exchange accounts.
